The Henry's Fork Greenway
A view of the St. Anthony Greenway by WILL RHEA.

The Henry's Fork Greenway consists of two sections of trail along the Henry's Fork in St. Anthony. The North Trail begins at the St. Anthony Riverview Cemetery, and the South Trail has entrances from Bridge Street in downtown St. Anthony and via private property south of the city. Both trails are maintained and groomed during the winter for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

As you walk along the trail, look for trees, flowers, sandhill cranes, bald eagles, songbirds, and other wildlife such as moose, deer, beaver, otters, and mink. On the river, you can see ducks, geese, great blue herons, cormorants, pelicans, trumpeter swans, and other waterfowl. Fishing is allowed. Bring your camera and take snapshots of the beauty.

Along the trail you will find interpretive signs about the area's wildlife and the Henry's Fork. These signs were paid for by the University of Idaho Extension Service, the National Park Service, and the Henry's Fork Foundation. This natural area is home to numerous wildlife species — please respect their habitat.
